Welcome to ‘My Health Matters’ 

‘My Health Matters’ is a new programme designed for women over 40, who feel like their health and fitness have been put on the back burner over the last few years. 
 
If you have realised how important your health is and you want to make it a priority, then you are in the right place. This programme will help you explore your beliefs around health and wellbeing and equip you with the necessary insight to make empowered choices to move forward positively.

Do you put others first and this has led to you neglecting your own health and fitness? 
Do you tend to self-sabotage with food and drink when stressed or tired, and this cycle has led to weight gain or other negative effects?

Do you have lots of commitments that take up your time and distract you from exercising or eating healthily? 
 
Do you want time out to focus on your health and fitness goals?

My Health Matters Programme Structure 

Duration 
6 weeks. 
Training Format 
A weekly 90-minute virtual live training event* with a small group (maximum 10) of like-minded women facilitated by Mel Bligh (*computer access required). This allows for new learning, sharing experiences and group coaching in a safe and supportive environment. 
Date & Time 
Wednesday evening 7.00 - 8.30pm 
16th, 23rd, 30th June & 7th, 14th, 21st July 2021 
Areas of Learning 
We will explore your story and ‘why are you here?’, your beliefs, values, identity and behaviour relating to exercise, body image, barriers to exercise, exercise options, health & fitness goals, understanding food and what we need to eat to be healthy, plus how we create an achievable personal health and fitness plan. This will enable you to expand your knowledge, challenge your past behaviour and build positive habits and practices to support your future health and fitness goals. 
Additional Development 
Targeted reflection exercises to complete between sessions to help you build your self-awareness and get clear on your goals and actions. 
Online Support 
Access to a private Facebook group aimed at sharing experiences, challenges and promoting group support and encouragement.
